Director of Orchestra and Guitar Ensemble,
Susan Rozanc
The 2018 Teacher Training Summits are excited to welcome Ms. Rozanc for the fifth time!
Ms. Rozanc has transformed the guitar program over her seven years at Travis Early College High School. Her students have performed with Pepe Romero, have competed and won in regional competitions and contests, and have been awarded over $200,000 in scholarships.
She is also the Founding Secretary of the Texas Guitar Directors Association, and recently began the National Board Certification process.
Currently, Ms. Rozanc is putting together a peer mentoring program to help her advanced guitar students develop their leadership skills.
Why is she returning to the Teacher Training Summit? "It inspires me to change up what I am doing and to help other people who are in the same spot I was in when I started. Since I started teaching guitar, my experience teaching has become much richer, much more rewarding, and I'm even more passionate about what I'm doing."
To find out more about Ms. Rozanc's experience and to learn more about the
Teacher Training Summits, check out this short video.
